1. All participants must have a current DieCon Convention Badge.
2. All entries must be the participant’s own work.
3. All participants are responsible for unpacking, displaying and packing their own figures.
4. Entries will be accepted until 3pm May 31, 2008
5. Judging will take place between 4-6pm May 31, 2008
6. Awards will be announced on Sat May 31, 2008. during the break between Game Sessions 4 (6pm) and 5 (7pm).
7. Judges decisions are final.
8. DieCon and DieCon Miniature Contest Staff are not responsible for damaged entries.
9. Participants must pick up their entries by 2pm Sunday June 1, 2008. Any entries not claimed will become property of DieCon Convention.
10. Five major competition classes:
A. Master Class: B. Participants Age 12 and under C. Participants Age 13 to 25 D. Participants Age 26 and over E. Display only (Eligible for “Best in Show” which is voted on by all DieCon attendees.)
11: Master Class: competition Class. To place an entry into this class you must meet the following criteria.
1. Have previously won a "Best in Show" in any painting contest. 2. Have previously won 3 or more first place awards in any category in any painting contest. 3. Anyone designated by the Staff of the competition at DieCon 8. (this will be based on decision of the group of judges during registration for contest.) 12. Competition classes A-D will be divided into 5 categories.
A. Individual Figure or Vehicle under and including 20mm scale. B. Individual Figure or Vehicle over 20mm scale. C. Units of 10 to 20 Figures or Vehicles under and including 20mm scale. D. Units of 10 to 20 Figures or Vehicles over 20mm scale. E. Dioramas in any scale. Max size 12”x12”x12”.
13. Awards
A. Each class will have a minimum of a 1st Place award. B. All classes will be eligible for “Best of Show” award |
